Applying for L1 visa - while K1 visa process running

Hi,

I'm Belgian and my fiancee is US-citizen. We live in Canada and decided we wanted to move to the US so we started the K1 visa process and received our NOA2 last week. However now a job with my company in the US opened up and I'm more than likely going to be offered the position.

With this job my company will apply for my workvisa so I don't need the K1 visa anymore to move to the US. So as soon as I know I have the job (signed contract), I will cancel the K1 application. (Since this way we have income right when we move)

my question is: Can the fact that I applied for K1 visa influence the request for a workvisa through my company?

03/18/15: Send application

03/22/15: Application received

03/25/15: NOA 1 emails/texts

04/13/15: biomnetrics appointment letter

04/16/15: successful biometrics appointment

06/10/15: Received email - EAD picked up by post office!

06/11/15: Received EAD

06/18/15: Received interview notice in the mail for July 20th 2015 (was send on 06/12/15)
