There is of course no solution, and human history suggests the easiest options are worked through first

In the UK that meant:

Importing food

Importing raw materials

Importing people for lower category jobs

Exporting manufacturing

Exporting non manufacturing

Importing people to prop up the NHS etc

Importing people to do manual work now considered beneath the local level including care for the elderly

Many people have exported themselves for retirement but import themselves when the money runs out or good health does.

Now does it make more sense to export the elderly rather than import the care givers, might at this moment in time.

Is this sustainable long term, nope.

Reacting to a report. The "title matches cited article" has been in effect for a while.

Just a thought. The article might be the starting point for a discussion of a wider topic - the European elections. The source of the article might have copyright over the story they published but they don't have copyright over the subject of discussion.

Having the thread title match the article title was only intended to prevent flaming via deliberately inflammatory topic titles.

If its not inflammatory, why change it?
