When hubby balls up his dirty socks (honey why do you think I want to stick my fingers in there on laundry day?)
One of my BIG pet peeves is: when my husband leaves his dirty clothes (esp. socks) in the hamper INSIDE OUT.

if my hubby takes off his clothes this way and i am doing laundry, they are getting WASHED this way!

When I JUST finish shoveling out the driveway and a hugeazz plow puts a ton of snow right back into it.

When the old guy that sits across from me at work actually takes his shoes and socks off and clips his freakin' toenails into the trash basket at work.

:o Now that is disgusting EWWWWW

The touching thing doesn't bother me so much if I'm acquainted with them. Here in the South though, it's almost custom to "touch" when you talk. Usually between the same sex though, men generally won't do that to a woman they don't know.

Chewing...yeah...that grates on my nerves.

The dog thing? My husband and I are dealing with that now. Our town doesn't have a leash law, but it does have a nusiance dog law. The neighbour's dogs are large, bark at us, show their teeth and have been known to charge at us. They even have figured out how to open our trash container and dig out the garbage. The authorities *have* been notified. :)

Oh yeah...the "Oh I'm sooooo broke" story...as they walk to their very expensive car. OR the ones that brag about their expensive shoes and clothes. "Oh these old things? They cost $350 on sale. You know I only buy the best." (this is from a teacher I work with...single...dates only men who have money, but complains about all the fundraisers we do at school)

BTW...the butt crack thing...that happens a lot here in the South. I remember Jeff Foxworthy saying in one of his redneck jokes...:"If you hear the words "say no to crack" and you automatically pull up your pants...you might be a redneck"

I'm still stunned by the 'waitress sitting in your booth thing'! I would be sitting there thinking "WHAT are you DOING??" As someone who waitressed for many years (and I'm sure a lot of us did something of the sort in H.S. or just after) I can't imagine having EVER sat down next to people to take their orders. How unprofessional IS that? Wowzers.

Yeah, the chewing with mouth open bothers me the most I think, but I also can't *stand* it when people drive 45/50 mph in front of me on the highway...and then there always seems to be no passing lane just at that point or cars coming from the other direction so I can't get around. I don't have to be a speed limit, but I do like to do at LEAST the speed limit, and usually 5 or 7 over...sometimes a bit more, but not normally. Depends how late I am. Even if I'm *not* late, I still want to do the speed limit though..sheesh! M.
