I think you want to read this thread on what happened to one person driving in CA after arriving with on a K-1, and making the assumption they were legally driving.

Yikes...thanks for sharing that.

I just don't want anyone else caught in the same situation when they get bad advice out there in Cali. They don't sound too forgiving.
