Thanks but I haven't seen her for over 2 years. But I have 1000s of facebook messages, skype call logs and telephone call logs to prove to them that we are in a loving relationship. So what happens if we havent seen each other for that amount of time. Should I just go over there get engaged and apply over there for the fiance visa at the local US embassy?

Yes, you need to see her again and have sufficient evidence to prove this recent meeting for you to be eligible for filing a I-129f petition, since it seems like you're going in that direction as opposed to the spousal visa.

In Armenian tradition the girl is supposed to do the engagement party and the wedding is on the guy, which they are going to throw an engagement party over there. I'm guessing pictures and video recording should be a good enough proof of us being serious. lol :)

Thank you all for your help if I have any more questions I will ask. Thank you once again. I appreciate it.

Careful with the pictures of the engagement party that they could not be mistaken for a wedding or wedding party. Proof that you met in person in the last two years is sufficient for the I-129F application. That is a pretty simple standard to meet. Pictures of a big party could get you in trouble.

My girlfriend is in Armenia and I am a US citizen who is interested in bringing her over here. I am new at the process. I am interested in finding out what type of visa to obtain? Which one would be faster and easier?

I will be going to Armenia in 2 months to get engaged. Is there anything that I should do before going there in order to expedite the process?

Thank you for your help in advance. I need all the help that i can get.

You can't file over there at the local embassy. You cannot file if you have not met each other, face to face, in the last 2 years. Go meet, gather your evidence of having met, come back and then file.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
