Documents expired (CheckList) Will NVC accept them????

Hi All,

Finally my case (I-130 for mother) was received by NVC on April, 21st, 2014 it was approved on January, 10th 2014. I was as signed a case number on May 21th, 2014 and today May 21, th 2014 i was able to send DS261. I am including these information as a timeline for others.

This is my question :

when my case was approved i asked my mother to prepare all paper we need :

her Police record expires after three months

her court record expires after three months

her Birth certificate expires after three months (Not sure why they expire )

my Birth certificate expires after three months (Not sure why they expire )

Now all my documents expired on May 5th, 2014, so will NVC accept expired documents? i know that my mother will get new ones to take with her at the day of interview.

Good morning

I've been told that overseas a birth certificat and any other government issued documents last 1 year, i sent to uscis my police record along with birth certificat that i got last october and still i received a biometric appointment

Cool thanks NavaNzO, i just did not want send an old woman to go and get hassle of getting new documents, you know how does it work in Morocco.

I Went and got my birth certificat " نسخة كاملة", police record from the court house and translated both documents to english with the official seal. It was around 450 dhs for everything
