i filled most of it .. waiting for my wife to complete her from

about your doubts, you should have a friend or relative permanent address, anf if you dont, google it, you will find some instructions on how to find a permanent address, like i heared you can rent a P O BOX.

for the Vaccinations, answer No, and mention that you will take it prior to your interview.

Wish you All the Best .. Your case number will be probably in October .. Good Luck

by the way the embassy in Abu Dhabi will ask you for a petitioner in USA, like a sponsor

there is a forms you have to provide in the interview like ( I-134, I-864 and W-2 ) those all will be signed by your petitioner and stamped by US departments

so check for any a friend over there, look in the internet for someone from your hometown or something ..

by the way where are you from ?

Guys, this is why you must be sure to read the instructions, including all the country specific information. If the list of things that Abu Dhabi requires is different from the standard list, it should be there somewhere. There are a few embassies that require an affidavit of support (I134) from a US resident. There are others who may ask for one if they are not satisfied the applicant has shown that they will not become a public charge.

there is more cases .. in that website

The instruction of Abu Dhabi doesn't state that i've to get petitioner form I134, you've only to provide name and address for the person you're going to reside with.

This page has an email address http://abudhabi.usembassy.gov/mobile//diversityvisas.html , perhaps it is best to contact them directly and ask them. I say this because : the pdf you link to above does talk about evidence of support and affidavits of support/employment letters, but it is also clear from the wording that that PDF is aimed at general immigrants and not diversity ones. So I think best to contact them and be sure what you need.

By the way: an embassy should not refuse you outright if you cannot provide an affidavit of support at the interview. What they should do is issue you a 221g (I think it is) "refusal", which isn't a real refusal in that it just means they require submission of a document - in this case it would be the I134 - before they will issue the visa.

Caveat that all the above is general and I have no specific knowledge of how it works at this embassy.

So if someone couldn't provide sponsor "petitioner" he wouldn't be accepted.???!!

That's what you need to check with them. For normal immigrant visas that is definitely the case, but for those you have to be sponsored by someone (they file the petition, not you) in the first place. The other posters are saying that Abu Dhabi is one of the consulates that requires this. I'm saying - double check with them. If you have enough of your own funds etc see if they can waive it.

There is a way to get around this, and that is to have your interview at another consulate that does not require it.
