On another note I have seen some of my posts disappear without mention by whom, I know not. Very mysterious !

To be honest, I've participated on a few forums where posts are removed without any notification or moderator action. If no warning was issued to you, it didn't count against you. I've had posts removed here, but I usually knew why even without notification.
