  I just noticed Kip's final ban came after he lost an interesting signature bet. IIRC, we used to do those for 30 days, but Kips will be there for all time, letting people know how much he supported women's rights and loves California lefties and Obama.

I don't know who more than half the people are in this thread. I feel like I missed out on people who were genuinely friendly with each other while disagreeing too. Or maybe not? This is an insanely long thread and I admit to only dipping in and out of it.

 

Most importantly though: there have been TWO marriages that have come out of people meeting on VJ?? I will never share this information at home, I will be banned from ever looking at VJ again.

I don't know -- I just read there were two marriages that came together here. Who are Marvin and Janelle? 

 

It also looks like there were a LOT more regulars posting in here back then. Pity, it would be good to have more people in here.

  His last username was We Keep Receipts. He was a good guy. He used to get into lengthy debates over racism with some of the regulars. You can probably imagine how that went.

    Yeah, sometimes there were so many crazy and funny posts to read through that you couldn't catch up. I had times where I didn't post anything because I was just reading and the topics would fall of the page so fast.

As opposed to the total of 4 new posts a day now. There was a lot of entertainment before. And most of the good users are banned.

   I agree, but I'm hesitant to discuss it further until Texas passes that law that prevents social media site users being censored for expressing their viewpoints.
