I have no idea. Just something I threw out there. I do know that page views = $, and this thread has had 21,000 of them in 10 days. Surely there's some value to someone there.

To add to that, a lot of the conversations/debates I've had with others here have made me think about issues that I normally wouldn't have thought about IRL. Conversations concerning race with Marvin come to mind, and that's just one example of many. It's interesting to get his views on that subject, although I disagree with him quite a bit on it.

One thing I see mentioned that I have trouble understanding is, why is someone grateful that they were able to get a visa so their wife could come here?? Do they enjoy torture?

Then almost everyone should have earned at least a suspension that posted in the thread. Why was Kip singled out and by a mod that has shown they are biased toward him? I was threatened with suspension by a mod and had my posts deleted for complaining about mods once. I should be on at least a 2nd or 3rd strike now because of this thread.

This thread was alowed to go nuts to let us 'get it out of our system' and a lot of leniency was shown so allowing this helped fuel what happened with Kip. It also didn't help that members were trying to get Kip to expound 'further' and he stupidly obliged. I tried and a few others at times taled to hom here and he was improving as we went along to where by the end of the thread he had pretty much conformed. He made a real effort but al he got was a biased mod acting out on him and sending one of the rudest things I ever read telling him he wasn't wanted here on the site. Screw y'all.

Posts which go over the line get removed. If a post didn't go over the line then it's safe to say the poster is not going to get a suspension. Leniency has nothing to do with one's ability or inability to control oneself. (Think... guns don't kill people; people kill people.) When you post hate speech you are doing so knowing that it is going to be censored. The OP even acknowledged it later in the thread. In addition, and I don't know how many different ways I can say this, assumptions are being made without benefit of the entire picture.

As for the latter part of your post, I would have to agree with The Nature Boy.

Yet there were a lot of TOS violations that should have resulted in mod actions but weren't. The topic moved in every way off topic that could be done but nothing happened. Until the meeting was over and the appearance of a singular banning against one person only. A mesage that we all see where that person was told they were not wanted here.
