I'm going to start out with an appropriate tribute song or two. Most of you won't remember this one by the late Jimmy Dean, called Big John. Now we'll just change the lyrics a bit and it will be Big Kip. Feel free to sing along. If I really put my mind to it, I could probably change it around some and make it about VJ, but I want to get this posted while it is still fresh on everyone's mind.

I was serious. I enjoyed reading his stories as much as he liked telling them. I actually have read up on a lot of his old threads. I think my favorite was him and wife of Mahmoud or however you spell it in that lowes commercial thread. He's crazy, no doubt but he's very entertaining and his comments crack me up. Everyone doesn't have to like kip the way you do. You've been making a lot of assumptions about other people's intentions that frankly aren't true. I don't do that to you, why would you do that to me? Just because people don't feel like you do about the situation doesn't mean they conspired against Kip or made fun of him or whatever. No body's turned on you or deserted you, you're just dealing in extremes.

I sure as hell am not making fun of him. People forgot how he could liven this place up. He didn't try to get banned, he was being himself and he wasn't ashamed of that and he shared a lot of his personal life here. He made no excuses or compromises. He told very personal things about himself and didn't hide it or avoid talking about it when the attacks and judging started. He stayed true to himself. I can't help but respect that. He never got mad because people didn't agree with him. He didn't make a sock puppet account to save his real account from getting banned. I think he was a likable guy and I have in no way belittled him.

Just because moderation doesn't want him here doesn't mean that some of the members don't. There are probably only a handful in the regular CE group that have a problem with him, not including moderation, of course.

I think Jimmy Dean did it in 1961. Johnny Cash does a good version of it too. I remember my Dad listening to this when I was a kid. It was popular in the 60's. It always stuck with me. Sometimes people surprise you, like when Big John sacrificed himself to save everyone else.

I don't understand the motivation of those people. If you think he is a sexist pig, then just put him on ignore. There is a certain brand of people that you have to agree with there oh so correct view of the world or you have to go. They are ruining the world
