I only participate on two forum sites and the other one (tripadvisor) really isn't a forum site at all. Even though I've been on VJ for almost 4 years I didn't start posting here until a while back, so I'm saying I feel a bit like a forum noob in some respects.

When I saw the little blue squares with the red hearts I wasn't entirely sure what all that meant but I figured it out. Then one day i ran across the games forum and a lot of things fell into place for my feeble mind.

We had a name for guys in the Marine Corps that would, lets say, exaggerate their experience by adding ribbons to their uniform that they didn't rate, we called them PX heroes. If they got caught it came with a pretty hefty punishment but usually it was just sorted out with a proper beat down.

...but this isn't the same thing for sure.
