Hi rhead!

Normally it takes 1-2 days. :) They will not give you the results but they will tell you if they find something during your xray. If everything goes well, you will get the list of the vaccines they will give you and a cd of your xray which you will present during the interview.

Ok thank you.. Got confused a bit on the requirements..it mentioned about a.Interview Appointment letter from the Embassy or Instruction letter from the National Visa Center (NVC), if available,

Principal Applicant - original & 1 photocopy

Derivative - 1 photocopy

B. 2 photocopies of your Appointment Letter/ Instruction Letter

Whats the difference between the two.?.what i have is the interview letter from nvc and online registration form, biographic page of passport, 3 pcs 2*2 pic and a valid passport..am i lacking something? I dont have old medical records though..

Appointment letters/emails vary as to who sends them depending on the type of visa, you being an IR/CR-1 get your appointment setup by NVC so that is where your letter comes from, whereas with the K-1 visa they setup their own appointments and get a confirmation from the embassy. You also get an instructions letter from NVC, whereas the K-1 does not, which is why St. Luke's mentions both.

If you have the appointment letter from NVC, make two copies for SLEC, then of course the 3 2X2 passport photos and your passport and copies of the BIO page (for each person)

It normally takes 2 days, one for the exam and the next day for the vaccinations. When you go the second day and get handed a card that says vaccinations, you passed the exam because you would not get as far as vaccinations if you did not pass.

Some people who go there SUPER early (like 3 AM) on a Thursday or Friday get it all done in one day. But 2 day is the norm. And you can't do Thursday or Friday if you have a kid under 14 or 15 (not sure) with you.

Bring 2 copies of the interview appointment confirmation that was generated when you signed up for the interview online. That is what they are looking for, And don't forget your passport and a copy of the bio page.

She is IR/CR-1 visa, they do not schedule their own interview online.
