Well having watched the whole game it was a very boring first half, Man U had the better of the second half. Sat there thinking oh well here we go again for penalties when Drogma came in with an excellent goal in extra time. Now the season is over Man U have the title and Chelsea have both domestic cups.

and liverpool have the european cup! :thumbs:

Yeah, total total bummer to be sure....but all I can say is, they certainly didn't run over us...took 'em 'til the 2nd half of extra time to do it, and then Morinho looked *ticked* 'cause they awarded 3 minutes of injury time. Yes, it may have been a bit much (extra time), but I think he was worried a bit too. ;)

Ah well....all I can say is *singing*...."we got our titleeeeeee back, we got our titleeeeee back...we got our tittttttttttttttttttllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeee BACK!" :) M.

I will be singing from now until long into the night! We Liverpool fans love to sing - nobody can deny the atmosphere at anfield on european nights! Second to none.

Seemed like a morgue last time I went there, but admittadly, it wasn't a big game and I'm used to Fratton Park.
