I received the hard copy of NOA2 in mail yesterday, dated May 15... Website still shows January 30 and Initial Review... #######?

I called the customer service number and they told me that if I have the hard copy of the NOA2 that it was forwarded to the NVC and I would have to call them to verify receipt... They also said that it can take 30 - 45 days to update their system? REALLY?

I have called the NVC at least 20 times and the phone number is always busy... I think that their may be a good chance that the people that wrote the Obama Care website are "upgrading" the computer systems at TSC

I did get the case expedited, but I do not understand why that would cause such an issue... How could they generate the hard copy if they didn't update the record in the computer system? The notice I received was obviously computer generated.

Has anyone else received the hard copy of NOA2 before it was updated on the website?

Can I ask you a question? When di you expedite you request, and what did USCIS said when apprived this expedite? Cause we got approved expedite April 3d,they gave us 45 days and nothing happened! So just curious how many days they gave you for an expedite and did they made in on time?

And honestly, speaking abt their system site,it seems that it doesn't show any updates on it! Cause even on VJ it shows approved petitions from California center! I saw on another post somebody got RFE by regular mail without site update,i guess they have some ptoblems over there!

They said the same thing... We would have a decision within 45 days...

I am completely confused by the letter... I was expecting that it was to confirm that they approved the expedite. I read it 4 times before calling USCIS... It says the petition was approved and forwarded to the NVC. The person at USCIS acted like I should not be surprised that the computer system was behind and told me that the case was forwarded and it could take 30 - 45 days for the website to reflect that. I asked if the person did not bother to update the computer system, how can they be sure that they bothered to send the packet? They were a little annoyed by this question and told me to call the NVC to confirm receipt....

Oh sorry.... Yes the approval was exactly 10 days.... Notice date - Notice date...

But I have nothing but a piece of paper that came in regular mail to confirm this... Website says last update January 30... Phone system says January 30... Customer Service person starts with "I see alien registration was updated January 30..." I said, "well that is why I am calling... Unconfuse me... I have a letter that came in the mail today saying the petition was approved on May 15......"

After much debate about how I could be sure that it was indeed forwarded to NVC, the customer service person told me I had to call NVC to confirm the receipt...

I don't understand,I guess they have some mess over there and can't even update their site, just making people confused with this! That's just wierd and I understand your concern abt this! But for us it's a bit different cause we got approved expedite but 45 day expired and we still waiting for any decision from them,my fiance called them and they can't explaine how it can be possible, that they didn't make a decision in time!

For you I would advice to call NVC in around two weeks to hear about your case number! You have to be happy you have hard copy of your approve, that's mean they have just some problems with the updates,it will show your post decision on the site probably later, now try to contact NVC!!!!!

And my congratulations!
