Yeah got Packet 3 yesterday.

Sent in the DS160 Ceac confirmation numbers with biographic info for passports for myself and k2ers to KingstonIV@state.gov.

Got a confirmation email with several links one of which is:-

To make a petitioner interview or beneficiary interview appointment, please send an email toKingstonIVAppointment@state.gov<mailto:KingstonIVAppointment@state.gov>.

Does this mean I should send another email to the above to request an interview?

Effective March 18, 2013 all Fiancé/ Fiancée Visa (K1) applicants are required to pay their visa fees at the U.S. Embassy on the day of their interviews.

This has thrown me a bit as I was under the impression that the fee could be paid before which to me meant online via CC.

Also I read somewhere that there is a form to be submitted when u change who the correspondence goes to, seeing that we have terminated the services of our attorneys can someone please tell me what to do re this form?

Thanks

Jwen after you scan and send all of packet 3 information to the embassy, YES you can send an email and then ask for packet 4 which includes a checklist and your appointment/interview letter, but sometimes they will automatically send to you, I sent an email and asked for it.....and YES you only pay for your visa at the embassy on the day of your interview of $240 US or $24,000 Jamaican.

If you fired your attorneys then they should have submitted a form to USCIS, NVC and Kingston Embassy that they are no longer representing you both, you should call them about that.

Your welcome, I 134 is financial information, yes only one is filled out by the petitioner, make sure he makes above poverty level if not you all will need a sponsor, you don't scan and send it in, you take the original signed form to the interview day of...in the meantime you should get your police record and certificate of no impediment done, we expedited ours and it still took a while.

Oh so does this mean my fiancee has to complete the I-134 and we scan and send this in as well before we can be scheduled for an interview?

This is what you will need to bring the day of interview, so you can start working on it, you can't get the medical done until you have your appointment letter though

Embassy of the United States of America

142 Old Hope Road

Kingston 6Jamaica West Indies

_____Photographs: Six (6) color photographs that show a full front view of facial features.

_____Military Records: If you have served in the military.

_____Certificate(s) of Non-Impediment to Marriage: Issued by the Registrar General’s Department on security paper for you and any children aged 18 or older.

Thank you so very much.

Ok having read and asked questions prior I have started compiling the documents.

ALready requested the police report which should be ready soon, have No Impediment in hand and all the other paperwork except the I-134.

My fiancee is presently here with me so thats why i was concerned about whether this could be done and scanned in.

So basically as I see it all that is really needed to be done before requesting the interview date is to submit the online DS-160 which we have done and await the Letter to schedule the medical.

Going to verify at a local clinic now if we have everything, at least looking on the med list I seem to have everything but the kids might need Influenza, Hep B and Varicella.

So just to reiterate, the I-134 will be completed and taken to the interview which I will have in hand about the same time the Police record is ready as my fiancee will be back home by then.

When i checked USCIS site tho they said " The sponsor must file a separate affidavit for each applicant."

So guess I will ensure we have 3 signed copies...Will need further help on completing the form but will look it over when we get back

Thanks again
