I have an interview on may 22, documents to bring are all set in... Question is the affidavit of support,1040 and paystub are all scanned.. Not a orig copy.. Do i need to wait and ask my fiance to send an orig copy? Thank somuch ....

Yes, you would need original documents for affidavit of support, form1040 and paystubs. Ask your fiancé if he can send it overnight. The consul would need the affidavit of support with the signature of your fiancé in black ink. Hope this helps! Good luck!

I'm not sure if the ink color would really matter. But if I'm not mistaken, they require black ink for the first few documents that we sent out. Maybe someone can enlighten you on this matter. Btw, DHL has a fast delivery for documents/packages.

That is correct. In the United States, legal documents must be executed in black ink, never blue. It is not always enforced, but it is always the law.

Another question is, do they allow walk in for crba apps? I plan to bring with me my daughter...have a hard time getting sched online also for her... thanks everyone, all replies will be truly appreciated!

Everything ( tax return, W-2, pay stubs) can be copies EXCEPT the I-134, the I-134 has to an original and have an original signature.

You must make a CRBA appointment -- you need that appointment confirmation printout. You can't just walk-in to handle the CRBA.

The USC can get transcript of his tax return from the IRS website and email it to you. Immediate download but he has to do it. That is what I sent Candy, and it flew just fine.

If you use 1040 form, be sure to include W-2 since it is too easy to get a blanik 1040 form and fill in your own numbers. Photocopy or fax is fine.

Photocopy is okay. They are not looking for original . Only the affidavit of support form nbi birth cert cenomar are original! Good luck!

Thank u everyone! I took the risk, approved but pending processing due to CRBA.. 221g issued... Need to get a sched soon for my daughters crba but still, there's no available. Hope i cud get one soon...
