I just found out that my case is sent back from NVC to uscis. No reason why, they just told me they sent it back on April 28, no other info, just to call uscis.

Btw, I got approved on March 19, 2014. I-130 petition.

Anyone that has went through similar situation, what now, what to do?

It happened to me too, I think it is normal procedure

How long did it delay your process. What happened, could you give me more info?

It did not delayed it, I supposed when they get too many cases then they send them to the CSC center which seems to be faster than the other ones.

You need to call USCIS to find out what hapened on your case. USCIS requests to get case back or NVC return it to USCIS? Either way, you MUST call them ASAP. Does NVC assigned the NVC Case number, nor you have paid AOS/IV fees yet?

@chalesreco : Dont say something that you dont understand. After approved the case, USCIS will ship it to NVC for Visa processing, they are 2 different places to process. If your case has been returned to USCIS, that is not a reason for "faster processing".

NVC did not assigned case number or anything, they got it on April 2, and on April 28 they sent it back. No reason why. But they never told me that before until yesterday as I called every week.

What usually has happened in these cases is that some paperwork is discovered and needs to be placed back with the file. There is no process for sending the stay papers to the file. The file must be returned to the papers.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

It was member Deep35472. His file was sent back from NVC to USCIS. If memore serves me right is because USCIS did not include all of his paperwork. Something was missing. I think it took about 2-3 weeks for it to be sent back.

I would IM him, maybe he can help you make sense of it and tell you what exactly happened.

Good luck!

Well @anly I was talking about my case which was AOS through my spouse ( I 485, I 131, etc) that is why I asked him what kind of case he had because that happened to me as a normal process.

I talked to Deep on facebook group, his process was simple. I hope same will be with my case. Cuz I read online somewhere people are saying it takes 5 months for uscis to look into in again, - no freaking wayyyyyyy

NVC Casefile movement doesn't occur for the type of case filed on you.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
