I strongly disagree that Obama is the sam as Bush.

It's cause and affect. The actions of the Bush admin have forced the hands of the Obama admin to take the actions they have. The spending and increased debt are nothing more than fallout from the Bush admin. The stimulus was started by Bush and continued by Obama in an effort to pull the country out of a recession, so far it has worked. The two wars that Bush so recklessly got the country into are now drawing to an end under Obama. How does that equate to Obama being just as free with the military as Bush was? Erosion of personal liberties under Obama? I don't really see it being all that bad, how bout the Patriot act under Bush?

In this case it's 50/50. The first video, for the time it aired, is not a lie. The second video is a lie.

To state that what happened during the Bush admin does not affect the events of the Obama admin, would also be a lie. Whoever follows after Obama will also be greatly affected by the actions of the Obama admin as well.

It's funny how easily die-hard Republicans want to give Bush a pass now because he's no longer President. IMO he's one of the worst Presidents in recent history. He was handed a budget surplus and a booming economy by his predecessor and nearly ran the country into the ground in 8 short years. To not mention him in everything that follows his Presidency is more dis-honest than any lie Obama could ever tell.

I did not vote for Bush (the second time). I did vote for Obama (the first time) .. I did not vote republican in the last election... I also voted for Clinton (Ross Perot the first go-round) and have praised Clinton many times in these forums... so I voted Republican once in six elections... Hence "Die hard republican". Good call.

What does that have to do with this topic? Obama made a promise he had no intention of keeping at the time he said it.. That's called lying.. That's it... Bush did not make him lie, he chose that path all on his own. You bashing me, the op, and the past President does not change that argument.

Make a thread about Bush and I promise not use it to bash Clinton or Obama..

I am not allowed to confirm whoever you are talking about even exists.If we co mingle 2 days next time then 4 then 8 then 16 then perm ban.

I have yet to find out what TOS we violated other than a certain Mod seems to get an ego boost out of banning people and writing page long narratives that sound like a pissed Judge handing someone 20 years.

A few more bans and there will be nobody left for them pooolease

SMH - it's a conundrum. The one, whose name is forbidden to mention, indicated there is a new TOS tool that was created in response to you (guys). What is the tool?

After my last suspension - in response to a Jinx report - I got to thinking. (but let me set up 1st) After I was labeled a "Chronic Offender" in 2012...I sent Kathryn several PMs.. complaining and lobbying for change. Kathryn spent some time with me via PM explaining how the Mods function - TOS enforcement...during the conversation...she (several times) gave advice about keeping myself disconnected from a hostile exchange. Not to take it personal. Stick to the topic and refrain from attacking the poster....Fast forward.... after this last offense...which I hadn't had one in quite a while (relatively speaking)...I think Kathryn's message finally clicked.

Not always easy to follow coz ad hominem can often times, be very amusing...but ..I'm trying.

Contrary to popular belief, it's not really all about you. My "die hard Republican" comment was not directed at you, it was a general statement. I haven't bashed anyone. I'll reply to posts how I see fit, if you don't like it, report it and see what the Mods think. Don't reply to me if you think what I've said in this thread is bashing.

& historically speaking...we are currently running a manageable debt/gdp ratio. (but) The debt clock keeps ticking up by the second.

I wonder A) How long b4 we are staring down Global financial apocalypse. 22 trillion? B) (and if we ain't gonna reduce debt) Can the country get to a GDP % & maintain it - which out paces debt interest? & how long will that last? C) When will the next monetary / currency evolution occur & how much havoc will that wreak & for how long....?

I think - We gotta methodically reduce trade with China (and / or do the Romney/Trump Currency Manipulator dance) ...bring it home AND South of the Border. (more jobs down south would also reduce illegal migration) We gotta bring Foreign profits home...repatriate via tax incentives and then create a stay home tax policy (think Texas). 12-15 % of something is better than 0 of 0. We gotta shift power and regulation back to states which reduces fed overhead and increases fed efficiency. ...etc...

Otherwise...we don't have a long term fix..& it's just a matter of time = Credit Cards are maxed out again & we are facing a meltdown...again.

My message was basically, that even though something does not violate the TOS and even though everyone else does it, if you get reported a couple of times they will take action.
