over 16 months and it is finally over, at least for now, the longest part of me and my wifes journey (K-1 Visa) Had our interview last Friday and got approved for the greencard.

would like to thank everyone over this span of time that helped us with questions and concerns I had during this process.

I would like to make a comment though regarding or USCIS. Over this period of time, we had to jump through hoops, pay much money, and wait a long time to finally be together and married and for her to be here legally.

I received the Interview Appointment letter, with a list of documents, and items to bring with us for this interview. we got in there, took maybe 15 minutes, and the documents we brought, the Immigration Officer, not once looked at them, or opened up our folders with the documents and photos and evidence of our co-habitation. After approved, we just took everything back home with us. Is this what our immigration process is suppose to be like?? Make us stressed out and worry for 15 months and it comes down to them not even looking at what we were told to bring to this interview, very upsetting.

Is this some kind of game our USCIS plays with us? We sweat bullets, we are stressed out, we are worried about having enough evidence, photos and documents, during this long process, just for it to come down to 15 minutes and not to even look at the final presentation they requested we bring to the interview

15 minutes for the interview, how do they determine making a lifetime decision on my wife and my behalf. Their 15 interview could put a hold on our future and life if it were not approved. Dont misunderstand me, I am happy and so glad we are done with this process (of course with the exception of the Unconditional greencard) but dont have to worry about that for a while.

Just so frustrating and angry that our government plays this type of game. Again, I am happy the interview took only 15 minutes, but I feel sad for the people who have gone through this process as I, just to get to the final 15 minutes of this process to be denied, or put on hold for further review. This system is very expensive, very time consuming and this should not give them the right to put a hold on someones life and future for just 15 minutes.

Anyways, I thank all who have answered questions for me and my wife, and everyone still in VisaJourney land still waiting, I know good things will come your way, be patient. Remember, not our government (USCIS) but we as citizens have to be strong to go through this tedious and sometimes senseless process to be in love and to marry.

Good luck to all on your journey
