Saw someone get into a texting and driving accident yesterday.

How can somebody drive and text at the same time is beyond me.

making BBQ chicken wings one way and then whole chicken (cut up) marinated and grilled another way and then grilled bread tomato salad, pickled red onions with fennel and peanut butter chocolate cake and possibly cookies... I broke down...wanna have Memorial Day too darn it. :D

Tell me you did that all to yourself only, please! :D

She's been eating something bad.

Or rather they've been feeding her some bad food.

So, the chick I carpool with invited us over for a bbq today. The majority of me doesn't want to go. She's so negative and set in her ways. I don't want to be crabby for the whole day. But a small part of me thinks we should go because she knows I'm not doing anything and I will feel guilty.

How 2 proceed?

1- go over there (alone), bottle of Ripple in hand

2- grace them with your presence

3- have Aliban call you 24 minutes later and tell you that he broke his leg playing soccer

4- hastily say goodbye to everyone, thank your host

5- go get a pizza and go home

PS....

By Tuesday when you return to work. And she asks about Aliban, be sure to dismiss the broken leg as a serious sprain. (In case she runs into Aliban with a perfectly healthy walking gait)
