There's "Fleet Week" going on in NYC.

US Naval vessels sail in and are open for inspection. The Blue Angels fly over NY, the sailors and Marines get a break here. etc....

How does memorial day turn into some big celebration?? I really don't understand.

Like Christmas, it's highly commercialized. Our capitalistic economy calls it the unofficial start of the summer. Coney Island opens, as well as many amusement parks. Memorial Day to Labor Day marks the summer seasons for these parks, attractions, shows, zoos, traveling industry, etc....

Many gazillion dollarz to be made.

annoyed because we can't file AOS without the I-864 supporting documents and j seems to be making it much harder to get than it should be. we waited almost two weeks just to sort out the I-94 nonsense and now this. i just want us to file and get it over and done with so we can finally relax, but no...

we gotta wait till monday now (i think he's forgotten that monday is a holiday so it'll actually be tuesday earliest). sigh.

tummy also still feeling weird. what a crappy weekend. :angry:
