I don't need too much only feeding 3 extra ppl, but if I add everything up I wonder how much I'd have.

So what is everyone cooking this weekend? Do you do something just one day or all weekend? My husband went ahead and made plans to cook but like usual that means more work for me.

Ok <ahem> my ball busting question....

Did your husband buy the amadillo or did he shoot it himself? :)

Thank you thank you :)

Good way to clean out whatever food or vegetable in the fridge.

exactly!

hey, i got a question. do you guys buy meats in advance and how do you store them? freezer? we try not to go grocery shopping more than once a week but the meats we buy (chicken breasts, minced beef, etc) usually have a sell-by date of 3-4 days. can i just freeze this stuff? my mum says no, jonas says yes, and he doesn't even want to store it in the freezer. thoughts, advice, health warnings?

This is good for throw-everything in the soup dish too. You can find it in grocery store.

I always buy the ground meat, chicken breasts whenever they are on sale (big savings), divide them into 1 pound weight smaller bags (Ziploc freezer bags) and freeze them. When I need to use it for cooking, I defrost it either in the fridge in advance or use microwave.

Ok ok...

Iike your picture!!! You look so sweet. :)

so I guess my MIL was annoyed yesterday because she can't tag herself in pictures of my husband. But I don't let her because I know he wouldn't want her to. (BTW she got annoyed at him, not at me.)

Oh and to add, I had a very annoying person to train today at work. thankfully he mostly knows the job already so I don't have to train much. I really hate it when people have disgusting teeth.

You can freeze meats. If you wrap them well, they will stay good in the freezer for months. http://www.helpwithcooking.com/food-storage/freezing-meat.html
