You're cheesy alright.....

Very cheesy, and I've got a card for that to, unlike someone I know who doesn't have a man card.

We've got people in that thread getting told by USCIS they don't need to redo their biometrics for ROC, because it was done at the AOS. These are apps to the Vermont Service Center. I think they're just falling way behind and this is their way of blowing them off when they can't get a biometrics appointment letter out in 30 days.

Biometrics, once captured, are valid for 15 months.

Which is what I thought. But there's people doing their ROC, see the April 2014 filers thread, which are being told they are not getting a biometrics appointment letter because their bio is still valid. If their bio was for AOS, they can't be in the 15 month window, at best would be 21 months if they got their green card immediately upon doing the bio.

Don't apply for that job the, if the company is so dumb!

lol maybe it would be an advantage who knows and let's not forget...it is most likely not a common thing that someone from Switzerland applies there *shrugs* just makes it hard to fill out the app :D

Divorced as of September, 2014

Or maybe they've had nothing but problems with former employees that worked in Switzerland, and do not want more of them? Quick choose Swaziland!

I hate all the bureaucratic ####### one has to go through for a job these days. I mean, in England, even to get a job as as a cash registrar at a supermarket one has to fill in forms. #######? If someone is willing to work and has a good attitude they should get the job- period.

So many hirers are too scared to take a risk nowadays. Good luck with your job hunt, J

thanks :)

Ya sometimes I wonder why do I have to upload my resume if they have me fill out the info by hand all the same. Sigh...I have a lead for a really bad job nearby so hopefully I get it just to have any money coming in...reviews are scary for it though that's for sure lol

In Switzerland or Czech Rep....unless you know someone...getting a job is almost impossible especially in the less populated areas and not big cities....that is how they end up with idiots doing the job..but hey...as long as they know the right people.... :bonk:

I briefly read through the April 2014. Some people who did not get the biometrics appointment letters, their timelines are either not filled up or not completed, so I can't really see what is happening.

Another one had AOS interview at 2010-08-20, and only now ROCing (almost 3 years and 9 months)? Something did not add up here.

Oh well, hope that USCIS did not screw up for the Biometrics letters :)

Tell them you was at a family gathering, and the boss said they better hire you, or horses are gonna lose their heads. Tell them you hope they hire you, as you're kinda partial to horses, and don't want so see them get hurt just to dress a couple beds.
