Yeah, that's the only thing that bothers me.

But it's a small price to pay IMO :)

depends on color you buy too....my colorist (can I call him that) had special natural colors....there was no smells since he used no chemicals....and it did not damage hair at all.

Yeah, har dome herb coloring (or whatever it is called) once or twice.

:)

I colored my hair 2x in my life...wait no 3x...one time with that guy in Prague who was great and because I was going dark red otherwise just to even out my own color at home 1x and 1x that shampoo that made me go fiery red.... oh no and now I colored it too but no change in color just to make it all even again :)

I gotta pack today, FIL is already in VT just messaged that the dogs are having a blast...him as an old man (he says) is asleep whole day with the other old dog ...told him not to break a hip when going downhill since he has to pick me up later this week ;)

wait so that's your color ? 9 ? the one you just posted ? if so, I hear you should not go more than shade darker or lighter aka 8 or 10..also....depends on the R and N....like I go with N's because my original color is neutral and goes with my face undertone. I try sticking to it no matter how much I might like golden undertones and what not....

I remember getting "red" and my hair coming out like a phoenix...a day of a new job...I sure was noticeable.....shining out from the group of new hires...:unsure:

Either way..I still think the right one is better if you are trying for darker and more intense red. The left wouldn't do it..but that is what I think....who knows. *shrugs*

Right now, my hair is just like a medium brown because it has been so long since I dyed. No that last one I posted, I did 4 years ago and unfortunately the night before I had to be in court. Uggghhhh. Nightmare! I had it fixed at a salon, though.

Why don't you get your hair coloured at a salon? You can sue them or at least get it recoloured .

Personally I would go for the darker colour , if you wash your hair daily.

Well, I did for a little while do this, and some really expensive salons, but across 3 different salons only 2/12 times came out better than I could do at home. I seriously broke down in tears once after this *sshat at the salon gave me partial highlights when I asked for full and did them more than a cm from my scalp! I already had roots. I got into a yelling match with the owner who refused to fix it and promptly went home and put box dye in and the box dye looked way better.

I've never been bad at dying my hair at home, it was just that one unfortunate incident. It is a PITA though, which is why I think my salon jobs don't come out well. I have long and thick hair and they seem to always be in such a rush.

It's cool how you go on vacation and the only thing you do there is sleeping...

Can't sleep in his toxic home, can he? ;)

Poor guy...

Also - I definitely don't wash my hair every day, most women with long hair don't.

ya I got mine fixed there too..it was not a permanent color of red I did so it was easily just washed out but i got it cut to make it faster...they laughed at me at the salon..that was even better....lol

You should go with the darker/more intense...it will come out well imo. if i had taken good pics of my dark red I would post it but it is funny photos.

Thank you

you said your hair is thick right ? I can see how you would not even need to wash it everyday...and it is not good for scalp anyways....

speaking of bad hair stuff.....I went to get a hair cut one time....but brought in a pic where the model had half the hair (long hair) behind her ear....the stupid person cutting my hair just shaved half my head and left the other half long....I was 14 sure but still...cried for a while.

Lucky you!

I have to wash my hair every morning :P

In Glasgow I took showers twice a day. In the evening as usual and in the morning when I wanted to wash my hair, since the showerhead was attached to the wall, so you couldn't wash your hair without taking a shower too
