I somehow left myself with a mountain of accounting work to do today and tomorrow (this week's and next week's). :crying:

I transferred the money for the house to the closing agent today. Is it weird I am totally worried they are going to steal it? I don't know why it would make me feel better, but it would be nice if the closing agent had a website or something.

I guess the sellers are paying closing costs, though. Lovely real estate agent forgot to mention this.

Is it a real small town?

Town we are moving to has a population around a thousand, nearest town which the closing agent and RE agent are in has about 8k. That is 40 minutes away, though.

Feel better and take care of yourself.

I think the next thread should have something to do with the large amount of Minnesotans (sp?) in this thread.

Yes....

And not New Yorkers.

can one put tires on a snowmobile in the off-season and it works? or is that a track'd vehicle and it's really more fun for muddin' ?

depends on the model, but they're really not that useful that way. And the tracks are not very nice to the roads. There's probably laws against that by now in many jurisdictions.

Official new thread title, full text.

I know that where we are moving snowmobiles are to travel on the snowmobile trails along side the roads - they are clearly marked.
