ya - and it's my understanding that most pinoy/pinay NOT use TMC there in the PI - so is little to no exposure to it.

The Movie Channel requires cable or satellite, so its mostly out of budget for most there.

Or did that acronym mean something else?

Traditional Chinese Medicine...

They actually practice a lot of herbal and spiritual medicine. The effectiveness of which is mixed. Urbanites in general are much more removed from this. But the Philippines also is not this homogenous culture either. Being separated by islands has created many different subcultures, which practice different things.

Which is an perfect example of why to never get comcast as a service. They're probably charging you rent for it to

Like I explained to them, would they miss the opportunity to charge me rent on 2 modems? Nope, hence one is theirs and one is mine.

Why the heck do you have two modems?

I wish I had a bicycle.

Easy, buy one. I get my fixies at Walmart for like $90. Real bikes cost more, obviously. I'm still using my now slightly rusty Trek mountain bike from 2003. Well worth the initial cost.

Trophie says she's giving away her bicycle when she moves. No can use in new home. Need snowmobile...

No. I can use it - town is flat and one square mile.

Plus, it was too cold to snowmobile this past winter.

Why the heck do you have two modems?

Well, I had yet to return the Comcast modem, when my mother, in her infinite wisdom decides not to switch to ATT for the home phone. Modem from Walmart was not telephoney or whatever they call it.

can one put tires on a snowmobile in the off-season and it works? or is that a track'd vehicle and it's really more fun for muddin' ?

I probably will in the next few weeks if I can't find one on cl.

1. get on a computer then
2. join freecycle then

3. post a WANTED post there asking for a bike.

report back - when able.
