Ok Sasquatch, you go get a ticket.....

Then you guys in minneslowta....

Nik you dun have to, because Colorado sucks and nobody ever wins anything there.....

Stretch your state is full of losers too......

Trophie your state is too rich so nobody has to play powerball.....

Never mind that, go get a powerball ticket right now!

Of course my state is full of losers, they just started allowing the lottery here!

Jada, sorry your MIL treats you like #######. Here is my take on it. Besides the obvious jealousy I think she knows you aren't going to put up with her son. So she keeps you at a distance, no point for her to get to like you when you're leaving. I know you try and I would do the same. She knows full well how her son is and what she is doing she just doesn't care. Do what you have to do to keep yourself sane and when ready leave. No point telling the MIL off as much I would love it if you did no point going down to their level.

thanks for that...I was very determined to talk to her today...not to tell her off but more give her my view of things and to make sure that I was not here to hurt her or make her life worse than it is or to be in a competition with her..but that it truly was my way of trying to show her I am no free loader and wanting to help not to take over or be better.... if that was what she was worried about. *shrugs* I know she will think whatever she wants all the same but I feel like maybe telling her would be good....

I am so ready at this point

:ot2: sorry I brought it back.

Tell her when you leave Jada, and not before. It'll make you feel better but make life even more hellacious for you until you leave if you say anything beforehand.

Booked viewings at two homes tomorrow. Hubs isn't thrilled but said he was willing to go. I agreed that if he wasn't feeling it, we didn't have to view the whole house. But hey, it's a start.

2 harsh browns, 2 sunny up eggs and sausages :)

Singlish bad leh.

2 hash brown patties with 2 sunny-side-up eggs with runny yolks and a bevy of sausages.

I wouldn't wish harsh browns on anyone - usually they have really bad work contracts in Abu Duabi [however it's spelled]

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

lol....well I do have a recipe for tuna pasta which has lemon, onion, garlic and tomatoes in it and tuna of course...and oil....you could try using lime if you had all other ingredients but I never did that before.

mint....is good with lamb and harissa

lettuce for salad only is what i am thinking with some lime salad dressing to tie it all together.

dressing (base it on your taste..if you want more of this or that do it...i always have to adjust):

2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons sugar (can always use honey..I do)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 garlic clove, crushed
salt and pepper

the pasta:

1 cup (about) cut up tomatoes into cubes

1/4 of a cup olive oil

1 garlic crushed

1 onion (about) small cubes

1/2 lemon (1 lime ?) juice

tuna

pasta of choice (cook it, drain it ..maybe reserve a bit of liquid in case tomatoes are not juicy enough)

heat oil, throw in onion and cook on med until it gets glossy and smells nice...throw in garlic cook a little bit until it smells right (lol?) ...throw in tomatoes..heat a little.....throw in lemon (lime?) juice and heat up some more....throw in tuna can or two whatever works for ya...heat it up until warm....throw in pasta...toss...eat....

? :)

oh if tuna in oil drain it a little...don't throw it in with oil....if in water...maybe add a bit more oil ...the oil thing is usually 1/4 cup to 1/3 depends on how you feel how much of what you throw in there :)

i have garlic and ginger, but ran out of onion yesterday. been a little under the weather so i'm not feeling up to going to the store. will it work without the onion?

the mint was for mint and lime syrup. we put it in with sodastream. :D

i do have some beef and lamb and chicken in the freezer but i am trying to minimize our meat consumption.

Well we haven't even been pre-approved yet but both allow for the type of loan we'll be getting so that's good. Only 1 has a basement and there other is a 3 story. They're both at the top of our price range IMHO, but at least it lets us see
