Quick question regarding RFE

Hi,

I don't know if anyone can help me, but advice would be greatly appreciated. My husband filed for AOS from B2 on March 7th...the day before the biometrics, we received an RFE for the petitioner/sponsor's most recent tax returns...plus proof to show that my husband legally entered the country. (even though we already sent that) My mother is our joint sponsor since in 2013 I only started working in December, so I had sent her 2011 and 2012 tax returns in the original AOS package and my W2..so naturally when we received the RFE, I only sent my 2013 tax returns...and my husband's proof of legal entry into the US...I hope they didn't mean my mom's 2013 tax returns?? We didnt have them at the time...but someone told me that I can bring her 2013 tax returns to the interview...I just need reassurance because my i-485 is still under Request under review response since April 23rd..attached is the RFE...positive feedback would be greatly appreciated! thank you~

Um, you need to read RFEs carefully. There is a good chance if you did not send in mom's 2013 returns the first time, that they requested them in the RFE. Which means that you did not properly reply to the RFE, and can be denied for failure to respond properly.

Your I-864 package needs to be complete before the interview, you do not have the option to bring this stuff to the interview only.

You can try to send them in now but it is highly unlikely it will get matched up to your case.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Thank you for your help, I will try to send it in today with a copy of the RFE that they sent me...

I got confused because I was also on a separate i-864, and since i had already sent in my mom's I thought they needed mine
