Good day. I had my interview at the USEM in Manila last May 5,2014. I was told that I'm approved, they kept my passport and didn't give me any 221g letter. I checked the CEAC website religiously. My status went like this:

May8- Ready

May9- Administrative Processing

May14- Ready

May19- Ready

I also tracked my passport via ustraveldocs and it is still with post up until today. I'm just wondering, is it normal to have 3 'Ready' status updates?

Was there another Administrative Processing between May 14 and May 19 that maybe you missed? Looks to me lke you are very close now to issued, maybe a couple of days.

I'm positive that there was none. I checked the ceac website before I called the embassy today (Ready May14) and after the call I checked it again still with the 'Ready' status and the updated date of May19. I really do hope so that it gets issued within this week. Thank you for replying.

The person at the embassy who answers the phone has no better infornation than you do. I still think you are just a few days away from issuance. Just a little more patience.

Nobody can say when a visa will be issued. Yours is taking a "normal" amount of time and steps for processing. Nothing to worry about. You just need a little more patience.

Truth is I'm currently 9months pregnant that's why me and fiance are getting very worried. But yes, there's nothing that we can do but to wait, be patient and hope for the best. Everything happens for a reason indeed.

If it makes you feel any better. Mine is now on its fourth rotation of ready. We had no 221g or anything like that. :-/

Sorry to hear that. I hope that we get our visas very soon. :'(

I just got off the phone with Candy after a successful interview. So we now join the ranks of those playing the final waiting game.

Quick update again. As of today May20th, my status changed from Ready (fourth ready status) to administrative processing.

Congratulations! I would suggest that you check your status via ceac and ustraveldocs everyday and write down the updates that you get as a guideline. Hope you'll get your visa fast!

This is your second Administrative Processing? That is great for you. You are a few days from claiming your prize now.

I am already tracking ours on CEAC and see that there are different kinds of Ready.

Up until now Ready has been Ready For Interview.

But just now it was changed to Ready, Case Opened.

Interesting.
