does this affect her acceptance in the interview?

I presume she has entered with Egypt as country of chargeabilty and the number you mention is an AF number.

So, the US does not really care about what citizenship, nationality of passports etc she has now. What matters is that she put the correct country of chargeabilty, and that she has a valid passport for the visa (doesn't matter where it's from).

If that is an AF number it is relatively low, and she should get an interview fairly early in 2015, though case numbers for Egypt usually move more slowly than Africa as a whole.

I would caution on one thing though: your wife has NOT won a green card, she has won the chance to interview for an immigrant visa. If she fulfills the eligibility criteria, she will get the visa. I wouldn't start doing things like refusing passports etc (if I understand correctly that the reason being she thinks she won't need it once she has a green card) until she knows for sure she has that visa in her hand.

thanks alot for answering my question.

when she applied she choosed that she is Egyptian not phillipini.

what do you thing about chances in the interview? she is pharmacist and iam surgeon?

Only her qualification matters as she is the principal applicant (though yours will help when showing you can support yourselves in the US). She presumably meets the education qualification then, so as long as there are no criminal records and no previous US visa violations which may still be subject to a ban, and as long as the original entry was filled in correctly re dependents, all should be fine. But still until you have that visa in your hand it is best not to make any life-changing decisions!

Your chances are excellent.

BTW I don't think the USA recognise Egyptian degrees. You'll have to take a re-fresher course and exam to practice medicine in the USA.

I believe just about anyone wanting to practice medicine in the US needs to do that. And one needs a state licence to practice too if I am not mistaken.

OK so she has correctly chosen Egypt as the country of chargeability (because it is based on place of birth and has NOTHING to do with the nationality or passports a person holds of where they live now.

You should have no issues at all - and the Philipinni nationality is meaningless for this process.
