Do I send to Phoenix/Chicago Lockbox or San Jose? :confused:

So I'm really confused by all these terms: NBC, NVC, Chicago lockbox, regional centers, field offices etc?

Wife and I live in the Bay Area, CA and we filing the I-130 together with I-485. What would be the safest and fastest option to use? Phoenix/Chicago Lockbox or direct to the regional center or the NBC etc?? Have a hard time seeing how they all fit together...

All concurrent filing (I-130& I-485) goes to the Chicago lockbox. From there it will go to NBC for processing then to your local office for an interview.

Follow the instructions to the letter, and don't try to figure it out from what people post on here, because there are many processes and many different nuances. But the instructions have a clear "mail packages to" section (which now has gone online I believe).

Check the I-485 instructions for concurrent filing instructions.
