Your wait is not extraordinary, if you do a search here -- you'll find I-129F petitioners/beneficiaries that waited 8 or 9 months for an NOA2.

Remain patient, you'll get that notice.

I know and I read a lot on different sites that others waited longer and took a year. However, I haven't find anybody got denied after 5 months of waiting on those sites. That is why I posted

here.

I filed February 25th got approved April 9th got the ok to set the interview on April 30th once she get her passport which should have been may 17th but now they say the 27th we pay BPI and set the interview date which I am hoping will be in July_ If you have everything in order with your petition you should hear something soon .. Good luck!!

You have no idea how happy one day you will be. Please be patient.

It was 186 ays for NOA 2, then my Filipino wife, got caughtup in the corrupt government of the Philippines, with the ""Sputum Fiasco"", an cost us another 3+ months,..,., was it worth it? Heck, yeah! Please be patient, your time will come, then you will go to sleep at night thinking it was a ba dream. total time from NOA! o arrival from Cebu, Philippines.,.,.10 months 4 days! Was it worth it.,.,.,we have a wonderful marriage, and I have the greatest wife in the world!

Kiwinyc, please excuse my audacity to interfere in your conversation. My fiancé (Firebug) and I are confused about the process so I ask kindly

ask you to explain this:

As you indicated, it took you 7 months before you received the approval. And then you waited another 11 months before you got the visa?

Or was it 11 months waiting altogether?

We sent our I-129 on April 22, 2014 and received the NOA1 on April 28, 2014.

Thank you Kiwinyc in advance for your reply. And to all of us who are painstakingly waiting to get approved, let's hang in there. As the saying goes, "there's light at the end of the tunnel". :=)

It was 11 mths waiting all together. Nearly 3 years long distance until we were together, during which we really got to understand each other's hopes, dreams, expectations, worries & concerns for our future. I wouldn't want to do it again but it was time well invested. We appreciate each other all the more knowing the hurdles it took to be together.

If it's been that long you can put in a service request since it's past the "normal processing time"
