Alot of us here are patiently waiting to receive the long awaited NOA2, and there is an unpleasant feeling knowing the members of this forum are stating they received theirs within 2 weeks, or in some other short term period within 2 months. From what I heard, some people are just feeding their ego and lying about their NOA 2 date. So I ask that if you're gonna write about receiving your NOA2 earlier than most members of this forum, to prove it by simply uploading a copy of your acceptance certificate (white out your important info). This way, we can separate the egoists from the legitimate approvals. Thank you :)

Why would they lie about this?

I don't think anyone will upload their noa2 to prove anything to anyone. Sometimes people just like to share their happiness with everyone here because it's only users on this site who would understand the real torment of this visa process

If believing the world is a happy fairytale and everyone is honest makes you feel better, fine.

But do you deny there are people out there that are just sour and want to feed their ego by creating a false story? It would be naive to think everyone is honest. I would have absolutely no problem uploading my NOA2 if someone asked me, simply because, I know there is alot of deception out there, and being naive doesn't help. If you want to believe everyone at their word, good luck in life!

I think you need to step away from VJ for a while.. everyone else's good fortune can drive you insane. I've been there myself.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will pass on that. :) Thanks for feeding me the milk of human kindness, but I will stick to my request for proof.

Those taking the time to fight my comments, are probably those who are most afraid of loosing the false sense of hope, that it's possible to receive an NOA 2 in 2 weeks, sorry, but reality is, without proof, you're just believing some letters on a screen.. it's called hopeium. :)

My fairy tale world is working out fine for me thanks :)

I dont think that there are false stories out there because then they'd have to lie about the rest of the dates like NVC, interview - too much work just to impress VJers. You do have a good point though

You speak for yourself. You can white out any personal info on the approval notice. So it's not a big deal, but if you want to keep blind optimism your motto, I'm not gonna stop you.

Hell and no, in that order. Members here owe you nothing. Either believe them or don't.

Additionally, people who've been members for eight days aren't really in a position to rewrite the rules.

This!

I surprised her with a proposal in Los Angeles, and this is how it went down!

Why do you care? I received my NOA2 last Wednesday after waiting 12 days. I filed from Australia. I certainly won't be posting my notification here to prove anything to you. This whole post is ridiculous!

There are so many people on here that are filled with Jealousy and negativity. We are all in the same boat. I may have got my NOA2 in 12 days but because of DOMA I have not been able to move to the USA for the 5 years I've been with my partner. Some people get lucky, but it doesn't mean that they haven't had a rough time before applying.
