A new building is nice but hope this does not set back or delay interviews too much. Not only the 3 day shutdown, but they have to transfer the files and work the bugs out of the newly relocated process. This may slow things down quit a bit for a while.

This sucks!!

This is right at the time my fiances medical clearance/exam results will be sent to the embassy... Please pray for us that they resume processing our Visa and issue it super fast.. we've already been through so much!

Well perhaps they will be much more efficient in the new building that it will go even faster than before!!!

Anyone have contacts at the embassy?? I may need to start campaigning early.. lol

~ Jan ??,2013 ~ Service Center ~ Vermont I-129F Packet sent

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

68 Republica de Colombia Ave., Arroyo Hondo, Santo Domingo, between Republica de Colombia Ave and Carretera La Isabela. The entrance to the consular section of the embassy is on Republica de Colombia Ave. The article also states if you have an appointment scheduled for the week of the 16th to contact the embassy as they will be working at a reduced speed.

I do have a contact and she said she is annoyed about the parking situation for the employees, she said she is going to tell me how things work out after they move. Apparently the Embassy/Consulate will have a transportation for them, also talks about using the PriceSmart parking lot which is a few meters away from the new building. If there is no parking available for us, or if it is too small, then I think we will resort to take a taxi..but then again no cell phones allowed, I hope there are enough pay phones LOL

Oh! Wow!! Blessed you!! To have a contact who can educate you to how it works!! That's awesome!! I'd love to pick their brain and see how everything works!! LOL I'm a nerd and researcher/investigator by trade and nature... lol So I am always curious to understand how things works and why they work that way...

I hope the new place has good A/C because the pictures I have seen do look like it has NO SHADE!!! and yep! Definitely NO Parking from what I can see... Pero si PriceSmart has a pretty big parking lot but it gets full too sometimes.. if you are talking about the one near Bella Vista... Is there more than one PriceSmart in SDO?? I like walking to the one near BV the street behind the PriceSmart parking lot is really pretty... or maybe it was now I gotta look on Google Satelite and see where the new embassy is.. It's sound like it's close to the area I know well.

Well, if it has no parking... I guess that's one way to get rid of Buscones!!!!

I can see it now... the next evolution of Buscones will be Buscones Taxi Service!!!!

 Ppsstt... Psstt.. Oye!! Por trente DOLLARES (no pesos) te lo lleva alla... tres ciento pies...y espera aqui por ti y lleva te pa'tras cuando salgas!!

O maybe Buscones en Bicicleta!!! Con un stapler, camera y imprimador de solar!!!

Do they REALLY keep every contact we make in our file..?? Good lord if so they are chismosando de mi!!! Viste este gringa.. que loca!!! Ella estas eennnaaammmooorrraaadddooooooooo!!!!!

I send emails to the Embassy but they only give generic answers... Drives me bonkers!!! I have not yet found a way to get to a human except for paying the 8 bucks which I am about to do if I do not get a better answer than yesterdays canned response!!!! It was the worst!! They replied with EXACTLY THE SAME information that I PUT in my email to them!!

#######!! Don't repeat back to me the information I gave to you and call it a response...

I wrote:

We have been in Administrative Processing since Nov 2013 (due to medical reasons) and anticipate the return of my Fiance's medical exam in August 2014. My question to you is when you receive the medical results where are we placed in the working order? Are we placed in the front of the queue as if we never missed a day (after our Interview) Are we given expedited processing after waiting so long? Or are we placed at the end of the line to continue waiting as normal.

Can I request an expedition of resuming work and processing the visa?

I put in some personalizing things here so they know we are human and really do want to be together... (obviously they didn't care - see response below) then closed with....

What is the protocol for resuming work on our case once the medical clearance is received??

What can I do to make sure we are processed quickly once you have the medical results... Call?? Write Letters? To Whom?? What can I do??

They wrote back:

NAME application is still incomplete. The preliminary medical was received in our office, however the case is still pending for the final medical results. We recommend that you contact the Medical Clinic “Consultorios de Visa” here in the Dominican Republic, to find out the status of NAME medical exam. The clinic can be reached at (809)685-1587, and by e-mail at info@consultoriosdevisa.com.

As soon as we receive NAME valid medical exam we will continue with his immigrant visa process.

If we can be of further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us.

:girlwerewolf2xn::girlwerewolf2xn: Are you kidding me!!!! :girlwerewolf2xn:

Not ONLY do I have the CDV number programmed in my phone!!!!!!!! I am on a first name basis with the lady in charge over there.. so much so that she LITERALLY knows my voice when I call and is happy to hear me and speak to me!!! I even have her direct personal email...

Same goes with the Ministry of TB for the Dominican Republic entero!.. LOL Dude! I have personal emails and phone numbers of the Vice Minsteria!!! Trust me when I tell ya I am ON TOP of this part!! I actually have gifts at my home to take to them both when I go next time in June... that's how good of a rapport we have developed! They have been so sweet to me that it brings tears to my eyes when I think of it!! How could I not do something kind and thoughtful in return...?

I just wanted to understand the process for how the Embassy handles it once they have! I don't want to delay it any form our side.. I wanted to understand the next steps so nothing is missed... But that's what I got back...

After 8 unexpected months of waiting we are grateful to Papa Dios for his fast recovery.... but I just want him here... safe. People who get TB are actually MORE susceptible after they recover and are off the antibiotics than they were before they ever got it. (for the next two years) He has since moved to a new apartment (the other one had mold and mildew/filtrazione in the walls). I'm just ready to bring him to our home!!

This response it becoming a book.. I'm shutting up now....

We recommend that you contact the Medical Clinic Consultorios de Visa here in the Dominican Republic, to find out the status of NAME medical exam.

I guess that they dont read before answer.

You send one question and after be waiting some days you get the same answer or rhe confuse more.

I am in ap, and I stoped to e-mail them, because all the time they were answering me with stupid answer.

So I am waiting and doing my own things here, but their answer are stupi when you need a good information.
