consolemaster,

Consider that even if you do not get yourself into an accident, there are plenty of folks on the road who may readily include you in their accident.

Yodrak

No. Not kidding. Sure, it's the law here. It's a risk. I have never got into an accident before. The year I renew my registration is the year I have insurance.

Yodrak,

You are a wise man. I forgot to consider that fact. Excellent analysis of risk.

Switched to Progressive from Allstate and I am very pleased.

Rob

now do some research on the owner of progressive

I could spend hours reading the "circular and misleading" Progressive SEC filings.

I only found TCW corp, owners of which are in trouble for chemical and "other" dumping issues in Ohio.

It appears that this is a blind investment company, of which the investors are well shielded.

Is there more?

he's "in bed" with george soros, same agenda as george soros too.

In Massachusetts the rates are set by the state so shopping around will do no good. It stinks. I think NJ is the same.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Yes, Massachusetts insurance is regulated by the State. Your policy rate is based primarily on the STEP system. As every year comes to a close without an accident, the insurance rate decreases as well as your STEP. Edited by consolemaster

You from Mass? I thought they would drop your registration if you didn't have insurance.

insurance in every state is regulated by the state, it's not just a mass thing. those with the most regulation = higher prices for the consumer. illinois is one of the least regulated, check out prices there. ny and mass are among the most regulated.
