Ok I have spent the last two day tiring to get an appointment for an interview in manila on-line with no luck. I keep getting There are currently no appointments available.

So I have search the site and found out this:

  • keep refreshing your screen
  • Appointments date are only 60 days out
  • Sometimes a date one will open up sooner

So my question is what is the secrets to getting the appointment?

  • Do they open up the next date at midnight?
  • Do they open up blocks of dates every two weeks of something like that?
  • Has anyone found a pattern to the dates being opened?

Thanks for your help

Best bet for an early date is if there is a cancellation. That will open a slot but grab it fast because it will not last long. Check every day. But don't log on continuosuly because they system will lock you out if you do that. Go once per day.

Only appointment showing up currently are from random cancellations, the embassy has not released July dates yet.

If you can stay logged on just hit refresh every so often and watch the left side of the dashboard for a date to appear... if an opening becomes available. Don't bother with clicking on schedule an appointment until something shows up on the left side of the dashboard.

So at some un-knowen time the embassy will release some July dates or all of july's dates or just 60 days out of July dates?

So many questions

Thanks

At an unknown time the embassy will release all of July. It was the beginning of April when they released June and those were gone in a couple days, not sure why July hasn't been released yet.

I used to check the website at ungodly hours - 2 am, 3 am. Of course, this is for insomniacs and night owls like me. Since everyone else will usually be asleep, you won't be nervous to cancel your appointment and not grab the slot that opened, because you won't have much competition at those times.

AOS process timeline

July 15 - Biometrics early walk-in at Varick Street, New York office

Aug 26 - EAD/AP approval! (60 days)

Sep 5 - Received EAD/AP combo card

2015

Just a thought, both you and your fiancee can check the website at your own convenience, using the same account profile, of course. They used to open the new month (typically, for 2 months later) of availability on the first week. Seems like there is no pattern now or they have just changed it. In any case, random openings from cancellations still do pop-up.

Hiya, not sure if this goes here, but what the heck. As of May 8 the embassy has recieved my petition electronicially. I go on the ceacstattracker it comes up with my case number and says READY, for your fiancee to call and make an appointment. But when I call the embassy like mention above there's no appointments availble. They also ask me if my fiance recieved a email yet and I said no....she already has the documents and the visa paid for all is ready. My other problem is when I call the NVC they say the embassy has to wait to get the hardcopys before she can call for appointment......this some mind boogling ####### I tell ya....I have ask why the stattracker says she can but the NVC says she has to wait for the hardcopys of my petition. ..how long does that take them to get those????

What they are telling you is not correct. As long as you have your MNL # already and paid your fee at the Bank of Philippines, you can schedule online.

However, at this point nobody can schedule because they have not opened up any dates. Hopefully soon.

When you call the embassy they will always ask if you got the letter from the embassy, but reality is it is much easier to schedule online (if only there were appointment openings).

As long as you have your MNL # you are good to go. Just do your scheduling online and you will no issues.

Right now many are waiting for the embassy to release the July openings, but random dates do show up for May and June, just keep watching the left side of the dashboard when you log into your profile.

So the dates will show up automatically, if one comes available? The dashboards just says track your visa...question is do I have to log all the way in to see these dates? How will it flash?

You need to logon then at the dashboard on the left side is where the first available opening will show up, IF there are any. You will need to refresh the screen from time to time, hit F5 to do this.
