Same differnce they do for either one mentioned.

Dress warm it will be cold standing outside early in morning there in Kiev at USA embassy, also tell them that you are there to interview for K1, they should take you to front of line and right on inside quickly. Good luck.

got an interview date on Feb 20th

She should probably tell them she is there for an immigrant visa interview as she is not a fiancee

Yes, but I think it important for the applicant knows whether they are a fiance(e) or a spouse and indicate as such... don't you think?

YMMV

We used letters, emails, pictures, engagement ring invoice, motel/hotel receipts, airline tickets/boarding passes, passport pages showing travel stamps in and out of USA and Ukraine, I wrote a letter of intent to marry still(updated or most current date before mailing to fiance) and had it notarized, anything we could think of that proved I was there in Ukraine several times and same for coming to USA. If you are already married you probably have Ukraine marriage certificate, probably have to show it translated and notarized to them but that would work. Friends letters or statements, bank records, money transfers records, whatever you can think of to establish a relationship.

What is NCLEX-RN? is that for RN nursing? my spouse has already taken her USMLE step 1 back in Nov, 2007, so I can imagine how stressed and busy you are studying all the time and then trying to run around and gather up everything for you interview. I think you will do fine and be great at it, they were nice and polite at the US embassy in Kiev. If you can speak English well, I would recommend you take the interview in English, those interviewers seem to be more relaxed and at ease than the interviewers that speak Russian/Kiev based on what I was told from my spouse, we did ours in English, it was very simple and easy and only like 10-15 minutes or less and only like 2 questions.

Well good luck.

Hi Natalie - I'm just curious as to why you have Russia and the Russian flag symbol associated with your biographical information if you are from Ukaine. No offense intended, just curious.

I am an American missionary who has been living in Ukraine for 4 years. My husband's family is originally from Ukraine, but he was born in Russia. He was considered Ukrainian until the fall of the Soviet Union, when he became officially Russian. He has now lived in Ukraine for the past 8 years.

So, although we are going through the DCF process in Ukraine, he is officially Russian.

Thanks, Natashenka for the links. I'll check those out.

That is interesting, I have met many missionaries while traveling in and out of Ukraine, I had no idea there were so many of you there! Every time I fly in I meet a minister and his people or a lady and her people over in Ukraine trying to spread religion, they have a lot of amazing stories to tell, I always admire them and enjoy talking to them. Even met some from England once, really amazing stuff, good luck in your future work. ;)
