I am on an OPT right now and I just got engaged this past weekend. I currently have an EAD card but it expires July 9th. I plan on getting married pretty soon to be able to submit all the documentation to adjust my status, is there any chance that my EAD can arrive sooner because I have one now, or does it still all depend on approval of my I-485 form? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Nope. Your future EAD will be based on marriage to a USC, and they won't give a hoot about whether you had an EAD in the past or not from other processes. Besides needing to admit that on the form, but no, it will not facilitate in any way your "new EAD". Congratulations on your engagement! :)

Ok, thanks for the clarification. My current OPT expires July 9th 2014, so it is rapidly approaching. I am in the process of getting all my info (including the physical which I will take on Monday AND Thursday) together. How long after everything is submitted can I expect my new EAD card? I know it always says 60-90 days, but what have you all experienced in terms of the time it takes to arrive?
