Things arn't so great. Got wife on CR1. I don't think i want to file Form I-751 to remove status.

What should i be expecting?

what can spouse do?

Will spouse have to leave if GC expire?

can spouse still file without my signature?

and no there's no DM, hardship or anything like that.

we don't get along, spouse don't get along with my kids....

we have nothing in common.. she always want to be around me..

if i'm home from work, she'll stay home from school..if i come home early, she skip school to stay.

its getting kinda weird...almost like fatal attraction movie...

thanks for helping

Married people jointly file to remove conditions. If you are divorced, she can file on her own. If you're trying to force her to leave, by staying married and not filing to remove conditions, be prepared for your wife to find a woman's advocate group to take up her cause and make life a nightmare for you. Get a divorce, of help her remove conditions. Those are the responsible, honorable choices available to you.

The divorce does not have to be uncontested. As long as you're not trying to force her to leave, you have nothing to lose by filing jointly to remove conditions. Divorce doesn't end your I-864 obligations and removing conditions doesn't extend or shorten them either.

The only way you'll ever know whether she will sign something is to present her something she might be motivated to sign and see what happens.

Set divorce papers next to I-751 form. Say if she signs those, you'll sign the I-751.

If you don't want to remove conditions with her, then don't. Just file for divorce. She does not need to sign that in order to start divorce process. And your wife will file ROC without you (reading this VJ forum this is more than common when compared to couples filing together).
