We've been married for two years now and recently filed to ROC on 2yr card. Marriage has been very rocky most of the time....such that i would have ended things a long time ago, but i kept on with it hoping things will change.

Been to therapist together, fight all the time etc etc nothing seem to be working.

Just last week we had another session of troubles and i just got to find out that the American wife is a very heavy hard drug user and this has been going on and kep secret.

Up till now, she is not aware that i now know....but i am so confused rightnow as i can't see myself with her in the future.

She never wanted to do any thing jointly based on a lot of reasons.....she can not open joint account (chex systems issue), she can not save money and all the joint tax returns and wages (we) she's been getting went straight nurse the drug and ciggarette addiction. we live together tho'...but i am confused and i honetly want out.

Any advise is appreciated.

You can file for divorce and return to your home country, unless you still want to pursue the 10yr GC.

I'm not sure if your ROC will be successful based on your first post.

You can file for divorce and collect all docs proving your bonafide marriage.

Also proof that you both tried to work it out-like statements from therapist and all.

collect proof of her drug addiction and consult a good lawyer that how to proceed with your present case.

If you don't see future with her, better to end it right now and present it clean in front of USCIS.

Thanks for the reply. As i said, i recently got to learn about the drug addiction last week a nd i presently do not have conrete proof. I've been doing some research on my own and she exhibits all characteristics of crack/heroin. Everything is just begining to add up and fall into place now. We have always fought over about $200 she spends on cigg alone in a month. She is so selfish such that once she has those pack oof ciggs, nothing matters to her again for the rest of the month. It is a problem she is aware of and she tried to quit but is not just happening. I wennt as far as registering her with a doctor and doctor gave her Chantix and she reffused too use the wa y it was prescribed.

How can you not know your wife is a heroin addict? Just curious.

We live in the same aprtment. We see, fight, do things together and i've expressed my reservations on the ciggs even before we got married and she admitted she needed help. In my mind, i thought it was just ciggs until this last week that we had another serious brawl where she ended up breaking flower vase in anger.

See, i know her to a great extent....She's been dissociated, disinterested in doing a lot of things....you literally have to push her to do things (even for her own good). Droping out of school without any reason etc etc multiple emergency room visits..... just so she can choose not to go to work. Like i said, things are just begining to fall into place now and begining to see the other way round.

Gather all documents that show your visits to doctors, therapist. Prescriptions for her. All those that can prove you have tried to work it out but it just does not go anywhere.

Of course, on top of those, you must also present all documents that prove your entering marriage was real before things fell out.

Can you suggest few things.

Thanks.

Thanks.

If you not planning to be with her anymore, its better to gather proof that you got to know about her drug addiction recently and file for divorce.

In that case you will need to prove that you entered into marriage in good faith, means you were not knowing about her addiction and tried to help her out when you got to know.

As i already stated you need to consult a good lawyer.

I would not suggest you to keep on proceeding with present roc and get green card and then file for divorce because you will be struck in citizenship later on.

You already submitted ROC, so just wait for the outcome. Meanwhile, can file a divorce, and gather all the stuff you had to show how things went south and why. But please, don't include details here about her...there's no point in going into detail and write ####### about another one in that detail. Anyway, like others said, collect all the documents both proving that your marriage was entered in good faith, plus all the issues you guys had, and start filing for divorce. There's no point of hanging around, indeed....reflects more how you want the GC so bad that won't look too good in USCIS eye..imho.

Good luck!
