I have been looking at flights to NY for the end of July. I just can't afford it. It's £900+. What am I going to do? I need to see him!!

Same here, Flights to Dallas Fort Worth is sky high in the summer :/

I don't mind waiting for a bit, Just I am hoping i'd be there before xmas with him, Even if I could fly out on DEC 23rd I'd still be happy, Just before xmas

My ticket to Germany was $1500. Those same tickets are now $1900. I had to see her, so I know how you feel. The money is nothing for getting to see her & for her birthday at that. We need this. All any of us want is just to be together. And we're not rich, so... A quicker TSC would be a godsend.

Wow, soooo expensive. You're right of course, money is nothing for getting to see each other. I'll just not eat for a few months ha!!!

New plan: get my police certificate now *just in case*, wait to see if we get approved by the end of July. If not, I'll pay the extortionate ticket price and go for a visit and wait out the rest of my time in NY, and come back for the medical. If we get approved before the end of July, I'll stay in London until I get my visa in hand. A lot of wishful thinking there!!

Oh I'm a school teacher by the way, just to add some context to my problem. I'll be sitting on my own in London for the whole of August if I don't go out for a visit. Ugh!!!!

TSC has been working on December 2013 for months... LOL... sorry, it's not funny, but I have to laugh or I will cry...

I know they have been saying December 3rd, They have also taken down the "5 months" from their websites and put a specific date on there "december 17th"

All I see in that is another 3 months processing for most TSC March filers. That means our wait is more than half over.

So at that rate, only another 30-36 weeks before they get to March filers....brilliant.

Each & every TSC employee has a space that large & their desks all look like that. And that is how you get a 9,000+ backlog.

Edit: Also explains why they're not processed in the order they're received. Because they no longer know the order they were received.

Exactly...people keep thinking/saying that they will process a new month each month... that's not how it works, unfortunately. I'm now thinking maybe November, maybe.

Anything is possible at this stage, They are accepting they are backlogged at this stage. 1 person has had a transfer notice from TSC to CSC, Jan fillers were thinking this could be the start of transferring petitions over? Who knows what is happening at TSC, But CSC has transferred petitions over to TSC before, So hoping it will be the reverse and TSC are sending some of the petitions over.

That would be a nice change of pace. They really do need to transfer a bunch of petitions (remaining 2013 and all Jan 2014) to CSC before it gets completely out of hand, and give them priority handling over there.

If TSC is truly focusing on I-130's then the backlog of I-129f's will be astronomical in no time. They need to be acting on it now (more like 3 months ago)....

Aye! I totally agree with you! I know some people have even gone as far to contact news stations about this, and Nearly if not all December/ Jan have contacted their senators regarding this issue. I'm just patiently waiting for some movement for them all

If I don't have NOA2 by then, I'm getting my Senator Ted Cruz of Texas involved on Sept 11. That date because it's exactly 6 months after NOA1.
