Kinda Confused at this, checking the status at first it said "At NVC" on the 9th, then it switched to "In Transit" on the 10th for about 12 hours, then it was switched to "Ready" and this message appeared below it....... no way it made it to the consulate in that short of time...... can anyone maybe shed some light on this?

I just sent them an email but it makes no sense really. Takes 6 days to get mail to her and it said In transit for less than a day and it was just scanned into the system on the 9th, now it says Ready. How could that be so fast? :/

Looked at your timeline, Did you get the case number the day after nvc received it?

Yeah as far as I remember. With K1s, NVC are pretty quick to get it out of there.

Btw for London, you can schedule your medical within a few days, they're really good like that. I called on Wednesday 3rd Sept to schedule the medical for Monday 8th Sept. I had the medical 4 days ago now. They haven't called me about my blood test or chest x-ray, which means they were fine, so my results are being sent today. The embassy now have everything they need from me, so all I can do now now is wait for the letter with my interview date on it. I'll let you know as soon as I receive the letter so you can get an idea of the timeline for London. Each embassy is different!

I remember it being like that with Marco&Bettina. It said Ready pretty quicky for them. Ready means it's at the consulate, so who knows? Maybe it says ready because they've received the electronic file? Or maybe they do have the physical file but the CEAC website wasn't updating as quick as it should (there is sometimes a delay with updates).

You should be getting a letter from the consulate pretty soon now so hang tight. If it's moving fast it can only be a good thing?

NVC just received it this morning so it will be processed next week and send immediately to the consulate after they gave it a number. So guess we are getting closer.

Yours probably left or is ready to go to the consulate by now. Mine did....

So after 15 mins, He got through and was told: "They JUST received it today. Told me it takes about 30 business days to process it into their system then we get a case number and can help us answer questions we have. But as of right now, no case number :("

I would check back every week to ten days... Mine did take about 27 days to finally get our case number, but other have been given a case number in 10 to 12 business days.

Also, the status can take a long time to update on their system, and if I'm not mistaken they use DHL delivery to send the package to the embassy and usually only takes a few days...
