Yes it will change advising you when it was shipped to NVC

It takes about one week for a new update on USCIS website. Also, waiting a week or 2 to call NVC is a good idea. One week if you want to verify that NVC received it. & 2 weeks if you want the Case #. Then a few more days & they'll verify that it left NVC.

Cant even pay yet its setup by the consulate. But why would it go up. Its only for the interview we have to pay not the i-129f.

It's for the actual visa, the fees go up periodically as I understand.

We called to schedule the medical the day we got our case number and they didn't have anything until the 23rd so i'd say do it at once. You can probably schedule the interview if it is not done automatically, just remember that there should be at least a couple of weeks between the medical and the actual interview to allow the results to get to the embassy.

Yeah that's what I mean. In London, when you get Packet 4, you get the interview date and also instructions on how to pay. I've seen on VJ that some people paid before they got their interview date just so that they could pay the lower price (although for K1 its not that much of an increase).

Anyway I decided I don't want to pay just in case I mess something up or do it wrong. I was happy to schedule the medical without Packet 3 and it was fine, but I'm just not feeling so sure about paying the interview fee.

You can indeed schedule the medical. I scheduled mine as soon as my file was in transit, and everything went fine! Some people say do it, some people say don't cos it will mess stuff up. Meh. I did it cos I knew my file would arrive at the embassy before my medical results, and it did. It's up to you though!
