There is a good chance it is also a matter of folks adding timelines at the same time there are approvals. It is like pouring water in a bucket with a hole in it. New coming in at the same time old is going out. I believe those that get NOA2's are rather quick to add to the timeline regardless of how excited they get. A combination of all the above as well perhaps.

We're both from The Netherlands and this is like the only thing I've read in a long time on here that made me feel a little bit more OK with the wait.

The tickets for a summer time (July/August/Sept) flight are ~800-900 euros. Looked up October and it's damn near half that price, this is only a small conselation, but damn. Any good/comforting news is good to me at this point.

Of course, I don't want to be a complete downer but there is the highly unlikely chance that we'll face a December flight which, again, brings the price up. But here's to October! *raises invisible glass*

I really, REALLY hope you get to be with your SO for their birthday. I have never been with my fiancee for one of her birthdays because they're in April. And there are no vacations for either one of us in April. Been together for 6 years come August and I have never been able to give her a birthday kiss and present in person. This is one of the things I look forward to the most.

About a week ago, We sent an email to our local Atlanta senator explaining what was going on and the huge delays we are all facing. We just got an email back asking for us to authorise a release form for him to look into it. Whether it'll make ANY difference is yet to be seen. But, at least it highlights the VAST difference in processing times. I'm NOT expecting our NOA2 to arrive any sooner than the current processing time, We just wanted to be a voice for others at the TSC.

New month. I read in the jan tsc topic that the tsc started on dec 27. Soooo it will be a while for most of us i think. It sucks so much. My fiancee and i have been getting in way more fights lately because of all this. The wait is killing her on the inside.

Yep I hear ya. Same for me and my fiance, we were fighting so much last month over nothing! I think we were just frustrated with being apart for so long and taking it out on each other. I just came back from a blissful week with him but now we're apart again for who knows how long, I'm sure we'll start fighting again... There's only so much Skype/Facetime a person can take. I know I won't get my NOA2 for a few months yet probably, so I'm just trying to keep busy for now. I bought sparkly wedding shoes yesterday! Retail therapy.
