I called on Friday, asked to speak to a Tier 2 officer. The wait time was 40 minutes and I was at work, so I left my number, and shock of all shocks, they did call back in 40 minutes. I don't know the officer's name or number. He just told me he sent an inquiry to the TSC and I should receive an update on the case within 2 weeks. Whether that helped with yesterday's approval or not, I don't know.

Congratulations on all the recent approvals!!

I called NVC yesterday and they said they hadn't received my file (it was shipped on the 22nd). I called again this morning and she said they're working on it now and gave me my #LND number. I went to the CEAC website to check the status and it said 'your search did not return any data'.

Is this normal? Did I copy the number wrong? Do I have to wait for a while before I can track it on the CEAC website? Please help!

quite annoying. Some people got it already.

So annoying!

I got NOA2 on the 19th, and notification on the 25th that it was shipped on the 22nd. I don't know why yours hasn't been shipped yet :( WHY CAN'T THEY GET A MOVE ON??

Btw I found the answer to my question in the January thread. Looks like it has happened to other people and I just need to be patient. You'd think I'd be used to waiting by now!! :clock:

Mine now shows up on the CEAC Website. Says Case created 8-28-2014 & status updated to ready today, 9-3-2014. I could be way off base here, but I think that means it left NVC today. However, I will not call till Friday to verify, as instructed by NVC when I was on the phone with them last Friday.

Edit: Congrats on all the recent approvals & updates!

From the patterns seen, they seem to send them bundles. Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays seem to ship on Wednesdays. Tuesdays on Fridays. And Wednesdays on the following Wednesdays.

Great news! Doesn't ready mean its already at the consulate? If it left the NVC en route, I think it would show up as "In Transit".

OMG I think you might be right with regards to the patterns. My Tuesday approval was shipped Friday so it works for me. Niiice! Love the science.

That's what I heard...'ready' means at the consulate. With your timeline it would make sense that it would be at the consulate, it usually only stays at NVC for a few days I believe.

How could it have arrived at the consulate that fast?

I'd be really surprised if it made it already. I mean, I don't know. I didn't check the CEAC website till today.
