And I got this reply from the congressman's office right away. What do you think this means?

"I spoke to our congressional liaison at the Texas Service Center regarding your fiancé petition. There was a delay due to a hit on R’s name and this issue had to be resolved. The file is currently in transit back to the officer. The liaison could not provide a timeframe for a final decision."

That's good though right? The file is gonna go back to an officer and they can approve it?

Or did I get it wrong

"A guess on timeframe could be anywhere from 30 to 45 days."

I feel like it's Groundhog Day- both the Bill Murray movie and Feb 2 when the groundhog sees its shadow and you realize there are 6 more weeks of winter

Anyone that got their email this week got a notificiation it was send to nvc? Wonder how long it will take.

Received my police report today as well. Requested that last week. So all I have left is some extra photos for the checklist and the medical stuff that will happen automatically when I call for an appointment the moment I can.

Regarding the additional info that we will have to get (police report, affidavit if support and job letter)... Do you think we should wait on gathering the additional documents so that they are dated after which ever date the NVC will be using???

I have everything dated on like the 09-14 or something like that. That is well ahead of time. Nothing is printed yet but it shouldnt matter. We just got the noa2 per mail. My fiancee just it to me on Skype. So its only a short while now.

We contacted our senator again today, Sent an e-mail saying they will enquire with TSC about where is our petition, Hopefully it will not be a "generic" response full of ####### XD

Drafting my letter this weekend and filling out the release forms. I will be ready to contact senators and congressmen Monday morning.

Is there a template available for drafting the letter to my Senator? Just want to make sure I have all info needed and in the correct format before I do the same...It's about time for some action on my part, any assistance with the letter details would be GREATLY appreciated.

There were several samples posted in other threads about a month ago or so. Sorry, I don't recall which ones but maybe check March TSC and Feb TSC several pages back.

Call them, they'll send you a release form and there should be a space to state your concern.

I did all those and nothing worked for me, until I called the Ombudsman
