Congrats to those who have approvals so far!!!

I am soooooo mad to see April/May filers getting approved so soon after being transferred to CSC. I mean, I'm happy for them of course, nobody should have to wait months to be with their loved ones, but how in the world is that fair?? What about those who applied before them and are still waiting at TSC? The system is an absolute joke.

A testament to exactly how horrible our experience was at TSC is the fact that individually, even after receiving our NOA2's, we're still angry & upset & just feel horrible for all those waiting longer than us.

Edit: Congrats to every recent NOA2! & good luck to those who are close!

I think I've come close to losing my mind twice in the last week. I can't concentration and am now having difficulty sleeping. The exhaustion is making everything worse!

Maybe if I can manage to stop thinking about it, it will finally come!

This may sound stupid but, What I have been doing the last 3 weeks is working on a replica of the "Charmed- Book of shadows) Like a little project to keep me from going insane, Do you like games? Puzzles? Or something to keep you busy through these dark days :)

I totally understand what you mean!! We both have the same NOA 1 date :) I just hope it is our turn soon!! I am getting worried that I won't get anything today and I have to survive another weekend :(

And I know that we have to submit another document, so they just should send us a RFE!! :)

Oh no! That's a bummer! What are you missing? Atleast the turn around after an RFE seems pretty quick

At first I didn't like weekends but now I appreciate the break from checking obsessively!

I'm training for a marathon and my fiance and I watched all 62 episodes of Breaking Bad. (Seperately, and then we would discuss. It's always nice to talking about something besides the Visa!) Premier league football started last week and I'm in first in his family's fantasty league. That took a lot of work! Oh, and my kickball team starts on Wednesday. I think I just need to get through the next week because in September I'll be busier at work and the time will go WAY faster!

Oh and I'll be on my way to visit 4 weeks from today. Hopefully it turns out to be a waste of vacation time but I knowing that I'll seem him in a month is what's keeping my sanity!

Edit: I also drink wine.

Contacted TSC for the first time after waiting patiently and silently for over five and half months and they're saying the normal processing time is now 8 months! Honestly ####### is wrong with these people? If they can change the normal processing time to something higher each time they lag behind, what's to stop this from going on for years?

I pose this question to the automoton on the other end of the phone and she said yes, they can do this indefinitely and I cannot put in a service request until 8 month is reached. Honestly, how much do you not have to care about what you're doing to work for USCIS?

I really regret going thru this joke of a process instead of just marrying overseas and moving on with our lives.

They are just referring to the 12/31 as of 6/30 that's posted on the website. It's smart of them when they're behind schedule so they don't have to deal with 10,000 individual complaints. They actually state processing time is 6 months on the USCIS site, which seems pretty accurate. Judging by the fact that they transfered loads of applications this will not go on indefinitely, and back ups like this do happen off and on.

Plently of people have posted that they had similar phone conversations only to get their NOA2 that evening. Hang in there, you're almost there!

Marrying overseas doesn't help, you just have to go through a different process. If you want to live in the US legally, this is what we're stuck with.

No dear is for free, you just need to write "uscis case status" in the play store and put ur case # and add it so u have it for default in your app so they keep u updated about your status is much easier like that so i dont have to go to the website.
