Here's a band-aid: It was inevitable.

True, it was inevitable... which is why I started off "and so it begins..." :) But, I shouldn't have whined. Should have just been happy for those who are rejoicing. Sorry!

I think we can all understand you. It truly is an unfair system that sometimes tests our capacity of empathy lol

I'm like "yay people are getting approved", "ohmygod what have I done wrong in life why is it not me", "but I'm happy though"... Many times a day.

With great happiness (and a huge sigh of relief), I'm happy to announce that Boo and I received notification last night that our petition was approved by TSC. Onward to London!!

(L)

Congratulations!! How exciting for you!

Today we hit the 5 months mark, can we submit a e-request or do I have to wait until 6 months mark? does it matter that I am the beneficiary because I created the account at the USCIS?

I just tried to do an e-request using March 1 as the send date, and it says that the file is within normal processing times. As mentioned in other parts of the forum, they have adjusted process times to allow for their slowness. :(

My fiance (petitioner) just got a call from an officer this morning! He said there were a few things he didn't fill out on the I-129F and asked if he would like to answer over the phone or to get an RFE. He said he'd answer them, of course. They were about the criminal check, I guess we thought you didn't have to fill them out if it was a "no". Anyways, he said that was it and the rest looked great!!! And he said we'll get official approval any time now :luv:

I had no idea they did that, and I found it very nice of them. I think it shows a great attitude of wanting to get things moving, because they could simply send us an RFE.

Good luck!

I'm starting to get so bummed out on days with no NOA2's! I usually try to stay really positive but today is 5 months and it really got to me this morning  My fiance is the world's most patient and supportive guy but showing him I'm feeling down gets us nowhere because he just feels helpess.

In the last 5 months I've been training for a marathon, practice yoga regularly, made a whole new group of friends, joined a kickball team, and in the last month we've watched all 5 seasons of Breaking Bad. The worst part are days when I'm at work with nothing to do, which was last weekend and most of this week.

I really want to stay positive cause I know in my head we're so close :D Any suggestions for keeping it together?

Oh these had better be through long before Christmas!

We have an anniversary next week and I'm going to visit for his birthday next month. Either of those would be fine! :innocent:

(Incidently- we were waiting for an H1 last Christmas. That's when I stopped believing in Santa...)

We are just about the same NOA date so I know how you feel. Most of us all are coming up on our 5 months and it's such a huge struggle because I know I am growing overly impatient now...especially when you only see one day with lots of approvals and then nothing really the rest of the week. So who knows anymore.

Goods morning VJ, I just received an email this morning with my petition approval. Thanks God.

Congratulations to you!!!! Also :time:

You're already doing so much. I can't honestly recommend adding anything. I mean, I think everyone would be much more at ease if they actually knew what was going on at USCIS. Other than knowing many April/May cases were transferred from TSC to CSC, nothing else is known about how that impacts those transferred & those not. That creates problems in people's minds who are already stressed out about how long everything's taking.
