Ambassadors are useless for what you want. You need an enquiry done so that someone will look at your file in hopes of moving it further along. Just stick to having the Senator do so. When you get the reply saying they done so then check to see if there has been a touch done. That shows progress. You have had your Congressman do an enquiry. Now you are getting a well known Senator to do so. I was looking at just another Congressman at some time to do an enquiry. Hopefully one that is known to be a contact with their Ambassador. Ambassadors can do nothing at all believe it or not.

If you get a bunch of enquiries done at the same time it may piss the person off who is handling the file. A pissed off employeee could accidently "lose" the file or toss the file at the bottom. You don't want that. You want the file touched and action taken. Just be patient and eventually he will get the visa and you two will be together. Also Facebook is useless for this stuff.

That is how people in their community pronounce it. That is not how people in my community say it. I'd write out our pronunciation for you but an Indian accent is difficult to phoneticize.
